Join the Center for Applied Artificial Intelligence for a conversation with Booth alumni about how to identify and combat algorithmic bias to achieve more equitable outcomes.
Event Details
As industries adopt AI for many applications, opportunities for bias arise. In some cases, as Professor Mullainathan's research has shown, individuals are treated differently based on race despite best efforts to create unbiased algorithms. In this event, we will hear from several Booth alumni who are combatting the bias they find in their industries. Learn about their experiences and strategies to use AI to create a more equitable world.
