Eric Yu (Panelist)
Vice Chairman and Executive Director, 4Paradigm

Mr. Yu is an Executive Director and Vice Chairman of 4Paradigm. Mr. Yu was promoted to the position of Vice Chairman with effect from June 20, 2024. Previous to that, Mr. Yu was the Chief Financial Officer of the Company and lead the team to complete its Hong Kong IPO in Sep 28th, 2023. Mr. Yu joined 4Paradigm in May 2018 and has served as company's Director since February 2021. He was re-designated as our executive Director on July 16, 2021. He is primarily responsible for the overall management of globalization, investment and financing, finance, legal and post-investment related matters.

Prior to joining 4Paradigm, Mr. Yu worked as Business Analyst at Macquarie Investment Advisory (Beijing) Company Limited from January 2011 to March 2012. He then joined the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Hong Kong Branch in March 2012.

Subsequently, Mr. Yu worked at CCB International Asset Management Limited from April 2014 to August 2018, where his last position was Associate Director and Team Head of Direct Investment Division.
Mr. Yu received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Beihang University in the PRC in July 2008. He obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom in October 2010. Mr. Yu also obtained a Master's degree in Financial Mathematics from the University of Chicago in the United States in June 2010.

Founder and CIO, 3Capital Investment

Esther is Founder and CIO of 3Capital Investment, a newly set up AI VC fund focusing on incubation and early stage global opportunities.
Before launching her venture, she was among the founding members of SenseTime, one of China's largest AI software companies, where she spearheaded the establishment of the strategic investment and capital markets teams. During her tenure at SenseTime, she successfully raised over USD 5 billion and led several key investments and collaborations with strategic partners both domestically and internationally.

Vibhor is a growth and private equity investor in enterprise software, including data/AI/ML. Vibhor's prior investing experience includes General Partner at SymphonyAI, a $1B mid-market AI focused private equity fund, and Investment Director at Intel Capital, Intel's global VC group investing $500M-$700M per year in startups globally.


Vibhor has experience originating, structuring, and executing deals in North America, Europe, and Asia (China and India), and has investing experience in a variety of sectors. His exits include: iZettle (Fintech, acquired for $2.2B by Paypal); Venafi (cybersecurity, acquired for $1.2B by Thoma Bravo); Cloudgenix (SD-WAN, acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $460M); EazyTec (cloud computing and IoT in China, $1B IPO on the Shanghai stock exchange); Basis (smartwatch, acquired by Intel); Paxata (self-service data prep for big data and ML workloads, acquired by DataRobot); CareCloud (SaaS/digital health, acquired by Nasdaq: MTBC); and TOA (mobile field service, acquired by Oracle). During his investing career, Vibhor has served on multiple boards and has extensive corporate governance experience.

Vibhor has an MBA with High Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he won the Student Management Investment Fund scholarship, and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur, where he won the Dean's Award for academic excellence. Outside of investing, he enjoys hiking, running, and non-fiction reading.

Darwin Ling (XP-84) (Panelist) '15

Darwin Ling is the Founder and General Partner of Good AI Capital, a mission-driven venture fund focusing on early-stage AI companies in Healthcare, Enterprise, and Automation. Before that, he was an entrepreneur with multiple exits, a technologist, and an angel investor in successful unicorns such as SoFi and Playco.

Most recently, Darwin served as the CTO and co-founder of SmarterMe, a company that revolutionized sales productivity by bringing AI / Intelligence to the workflow. With enterprise customers such as Danaher ( Fortune 500 medical device ), Home Depot, and GE, SmarterMe's innovative approach was recently recognized through its acquisition.

As a Distinguished Alumni of Purdue University, Darwin was featured as one of Purdue's Tech Titans and is serving on the leadership council for the School of Science. As an AI/Machine Learning expert, Darwin is a guest lecturer for the Chicago Booth School of Business.

Darwin received his MBA (Honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds a BS ( Phi Beta Kappa ) with distinction in Computer Science and Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science from Purdue University.
