Synopsis:
The COVID-19 Pandemic, first identified in WuHan in December 2019, is still an ongoing public health threat in many countries. The virus has infected 6.4 million people in 188 countries, resulting 383,000 deaths. Initially considered as a bigger flu, countries have set containment policies against it with mandatory social distancing when community outbreak was detected and death reported.
Starting in June, countries in the region has eased restriction measures for economy recovery. The Chicago Booth Alumni Club of Singapore proudly present to you the still burning topics today in vaccine development, test kits selection and the impacts of economic reopening.
