Chicago Booth alumni and students are invited by the LSE Alumni Club in Germany to an exlusive guided tour in English exploring the "European Central Bank (ECB) Art Collection".
Event Details
The exclusive guided tour in English will explore the European Central Bank's Art Collection and the building's architecture at the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. After the visit the gorup will meet at the Restaurant Oosten at 7.30 pm for drinks and dinner.
The European Union is home to a rich and varied array of cultures, made up of the traditions of the individual countries and regions. The ECB is committed to promoting this variety of arts and culture. The ECB's art collection comprises around 450 paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and art objects of about 200 artists of 24 countries. It continues to grow, through acquisitions of artworks for the annual exhibition series "Contemporary art from the Member States of the European Union", which features a different country every year.
Drinks and dinner at the Restaurant Osten (Mayfarthstraße 4, 60314 Frankfurt, website) are on selfpayment basis.
The ECB guided tour is free of charge.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
We will meet at the entrance of the ECB Visitor Centre, Sonnemannstrasse 20, 60314 Frankfurt am Main, Germany at 5:15 pm. As an entrance condition you are asked to show a valid national identity card or passport. Please note that driving license and copies of identification documents will not be accepted.
We encourage you to sign-up early, as we allocate places on a first-come, first-served basis. Could you please be so kind and cancel your place in case you are unable to attend so that we can allocate the place to an alumni from the waiting list.
