The Chicago Booth School of Business Black Alumni Association (CBAA) will hold the 6th Annual Luncheon featuring David Axelrod.
A University of Chicago alumnus, David Axelrod has served as a key strategist and aide to President Barack Obama, including service in the White House as senior adviser. He left that role in early 2011 to serve as a strategist for President Obama's re-election campaign. Now he is turning his focus to helping inspire and train the next generation of political leaders at the Institute for Politics, at the University of Chicago. This luncheon is an excellent opportunity to re-connect with existing friends/colleagues, and to meet new alumni and guests. Come and learn about the CBAA and engage with the greater Booth community.

A University of Chicago alumnus, David Axelrod has served as a key strategist and aide to President Barack Obama, including service in the White House as senior adviser. He left that role in early 2011 and is currently a strategist for President Obama's re-election campaign, after which he will turn his focus to helping inspire and train the next generation of political leaders at the Institute. For David, this role will bring him back to his deep roots in the UChicago community and Hyde Park neighborhood. David's own passion for political journalism began when he was a College student in the 1970s, and he said he saw a need for programs and mentorship that could help more College students pursue similar careers.
