Event Details
Last year the Harvard Business School Launched the Competitiveness Project, a research led effort to understand and improve the ability of firms operating in the US to compete successfully in the global economy while supporting high and rising living standards for Americans.
Project faculty have conducted in-depth research on this topic including a survey of nearly 10,00 HBS Alumni, and their initial findings were published in the March 2012 issue of the Harvard Business Review. Those findings emphasize the importance of mobilizing leaders in business, government labor, and education to boost regional competitiveness.
HBS Dean Nitin Nohria and Professors Michael E. Porter and Jan W. Rivkin are now asking business leaders to participate in a series of Paths Forward discussions on ways companies and other stakeholders can boost US competitiveness.
