Event Details

Chicago Alumni of Austin has partnered with MIT, Berkeley, Brown, Columbia Business School, Harvard/HBS, Penn/Wharton, Princeton, Stanford alumni for evening on Town Lake listening to a live Latin music band as we float or row on the water. Our group will float on kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards to a quiet area on the lake to enjoy live Latino serenades by local musicians as part of one of Austin's best events on a full-moon night with a view of downtown.  

Each participant is responsible for buying their own event ticket and renting their equipment of choice at the Texas Rowing Center. You also can bring your own personal floating equipment and pay only for the event ticket.

Here's how to sign up. First, register on our combined alumni registration link. Second, pay upfront online at the Texas Rowing center link. We recommend paying for the equipment rental and/or ticket in advance to make sure you are locked in. Prices are $10-$40 depending on what you rent or if you bring your own gear.

We will be meeting at the Texas Rowing Center at 6:45 PM. The event launches promptly at 7 PM, so please make sure you arrive 15-30 minutes before to check in and retrieve the equipment you rented.
