Join the Alumni Club of San Diego in our first virtual debate.
Event Details
The Chicago Booth alumni club of San Diego will hold its first "Perspectives" series on Wednesday April 29th. The topic for this event is "At what point do we reopen the US economy?". We will share perspectives on how to think through this decision and its implications. We will debate its social, economic, ethical and political implications, and the trade-off involved.
Specially designed for these quarantine times, each "Perspectives" event consists in a virtual debate amongst participants. It will be moderated by one of the chairs of the San Diego alumni club, Fabrice Hoerner, '10. The debate will take place on Zoom, with a maximum of 12 participants, so we kindly ask that you do not register until you are certain to attend.
We may encourage you to read some articles related to the topic ahead of time. Articles will be posted on the BoothSDClub page on Facebook in the week leading to the event. We look forward to this first virtual event of the Chicago Booth Alumni Club of San Diego, and to a lively discussion!
