Speakers
We are pleased to host the following speakers:
- Erik Valgaeren, LLM'91 Partner at Stibbe
Erik holds an LLM degree of the University of Chicago (LLM '91) and is one of the most recognized experts on data protection in Belgium and abroad. He has a thriving practice which focuses on IT, privacy, internet, e-commerce and electronic communications law. Erik also deals with intellectual property issues relating to these areas driven by the increasing interaction between infrastructure and the content/information communicated.
- Marc Huybrechts, MBA'89 Director Mail & Retail Solutions at bpost
Marc holds Master Degrees in Law and in Economics as well as an MBA of the Chicago Booth School of Business (MBA'89). He was appointed as Director Mail & Retail Solutions at bpost in September 2014 and his responsibilities include the development of new business opportunities. Prior to that, he held several key functions at Mc Kinsey & Company, Fortis Bank, Dexia and Distriplus.
- Elke Horrix, Head of Data & GDPR at The House of Marketing
Elke Horrix is currently leading the data-driven division of the Quanteus Group. She is guiding companies with their data strategy and working on GDPR implementation projects. She is certified in European Data Protection by Solvay Business School. Prior to Quanteus, she held several key positions at, among others, dFakto, Vente-Exclusive.com, Worldine and International Card Services.
