Student-led groups are an integral part of the Chicago Booth experience, offering limitless opportunities to explore new interests, meet new friends, and make lasting connections. Booth’s 125+ clubs and organizations bring students together to pursue shared interests—from playing rugby and listening to music to serving the community and building expertise in industries such as real estate, fintech, energy, consulting, entrepreneurship, and everything in between. Here, we highlight some of our most popular Full-Time MBA and Part-Time MBA student-led groups.

African American MBA Association (AAMBAA)

A forum for Full-Time MBA students of African American heritage, AAMBAA fosters a sense of community through professional programming, social and cultural events, and community service opportunities. “AAMBAA is a really supportive community that I will have for the rest of my life,” says co-chair Chloe Saddler. “We all have different interests and professional goals, but whenever I reach out to someone with a question or want to identify a connection, I get a response—sometimes within 30 seconds.”

Athletic Clubs

Groups devoted to golf, running, tennis, and other sports keep Chicago Booth students active all year. "Chicago Booth attracts a lot of talented and competitive people,” says Teddy Stuebi, co-chair of the Golf Club. “I've found students at Booth enjoy sharing what they do well and are very welcoming to other Boothies who want to learn their sport or participate in their activity."

Student Advisory Council

The Student Advisory Council enhances the Booth experience for Evening MBA and Weekend MBA students by hosting events such as an annual boat cruise and Winter Formal. “My Booth experience wouldn't have been complete without engaging in activities outside the classroom,” says Bilal Baqar, SAC’s outreach chair. “SAC provided a great opportunity for me to work with like-minded people who wanted to give back to the Booth community.”
