With access to this resource, you can see the range of functions and industries in which our students decided to work both while pursuing their MBA studies and after. The 2023 Employment Report includes graduates from Summer 2022 through Spring 2023.
Within 12 months prior to and four months post-graduation, 79 percent of students seeking a career change were able to pivot. Of those seeking a career switch, 62 percent moved to an entirely new organization, 34 percent advanced or changed positions at their current company, and 4 percent started their own company. Furthermore, of those Boothies who reported moving to a new organization, 66 percent changed functions, 70 percent changed industries (up from 53 percent in 2022), and 34 percent changed geographies. For graduates who decided to remain at their current companies, 94 percent received a promotion and 30 percent changed functions.
