For those considering an MBA, there are a number of factors that come into play when determining which institution is the right fit. Some of those factors include an interest in building a strong and supportive community, identifying a program that is well aligned with their career goals, and determining how to finance the two-year experience.

That’s why Chicago Booth partners with the Forté Foundation, whose mission of launching students into fulfilling, significant careers through access to business education, professional development, and a community of successful professionals aligns with our own. Each year, the Full-Time MBA Program awards Forté Fellowships to a select number admitted students. These prestigious awards are recognized within the business school community and beyond.

What can you hope to gain from a Forté Fellowship? Beyond the financial benefit and contribution toward the registration fee for the MBA Women’s Leadership Conference, Fellows have access to a strong community of Boothies as well as the larger Forté network.

Additional advantages for Forte Fellows:

  • Inclusion in the Forté Fellows resume book, which is distributed to Forté partner companies
  • Lifetime access to Forté’s Women Lead live webinar series and on-demand recordings
  • Access to an online networking community for Forté Fellows and alumni

In addition to connecting with the Forté network, Booth students who receive the Forté Fellowship take on additional leadership roles throughout their Booth experience. One of the more popular opportunities for women is joining Chicago Women in Business (CWiB), which places an emphasis on empowering women and promoting equity. This is achieved through regular meetings as well as events like CWiB Circles, Professional Development Workshops, and through the work of Booth Equity Allies.
