As the global economy grapples with the COVID-19 pandemic, how has consumer behavior changed? Will these changes be temporary or enduring? How can firms adapt their business models using technology to survive and even thrive in this new environment?

On October 27, business leaders discussed these and other questions around consumer responses to the pandemic. For this panel, we welcomed Booth alumni Ann Mukherjee, AB ’87, MBA ’94, chairman and CEO of Pernod Ricard North America, and Brian Niccol, ’03, chairman and CEO of Chipotle. They each shared their expert insights on these topics, drawing on their personal experiences navigating this unprecedented crisis as leaders of some of the world’s biggest companies. Booth professor Jean-Pierre Dubé moderated their conversation.

Co-sponsored by the James M. Kilts Center for Marketing, this virtual event was the second in Booth’s Road to Economic Recovery series on COVID-19. Each event takes place digitally and includes a discussion with industry leaders, policymakers, and other experts from Booth and beyond about the challenges facing global leaders and citizens alike.
