Stigler Center News Stigler Center Junior Fellow Simcha Barkai awarded grant to research causal effect of antitrust enforcement

On August 26, 2019, the Washington Center for Equitable Growth announced its 2019 class of grantees. More than $1 million in grants will be awarded to 33 US scholars and 15 doctoral candidates and postdoctoral scholars researching key issues related to economic inequality and growth.
Selected among the group of grantees this year is Stigler Center Junior Fellow and London Business School Assistant Professor of Finance Simcha Barkai, who was awarded a grant for his research on the causal effect of antitrust enforcement.
