Stigler Center News Bradley Fellow Matthias Breuer to join Columbia Business School

Bradley Fellow Matthias Breuer, after the completion of the PhD program in Accounting at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, will be joining the Columbia Business School faculty as Assistant Professor in the Accounting Division in the Academic Year 2018–2019.

Matthias was selected as a Bradley Fellow in 2016–2017 with the job market paper “How Does Financial-Reporting Regulation Affect Market-Wide Resource Allocation?,” which measures the impact of the different levels of financial reporting and auditing mandates around Europe on resource allocation.
