Stigler Center News Updates on 2019 graduating Bradley Fellows and Stigler PhD Award Winner

We are pleased to announce the following updates for 2019 graduating Bradley Fellows and Stigler PhD Award Winners:
Anya Nakhmurina (PhD in Accounting at the Booth School of Business) joined the Yale University School of Management as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in July 2019. Anya was selected as a 2018–19 Bradley Fellow for her job market paper “Does Fiscal Monitoring Make Better Governments? Evidence from US Municipalities.”
Peter Chen (PhD in Finance at the Booth School of Business) joined the Analysis Group (Chicago Office) as an Associate in summer 2019. Peter was selected as a Bradley Fellow in 2018–19 for his job market paper on “Mergers, Aggregate Productivity, and Markups.”
Krisztina Orban (PhD in Economics at the University of Chicago) joined the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) as a Postdoctoral Fellow in September 2019. She will also join Monash University as an Assistant Professor of Economics in July 2021. Krisztina was selected as a Stigler PhD Award Winner in 2016–17 for her research on “Dismantling the Strictest form of Regulation: the Inception of Capitalism through the Lens of Firms.”
