The Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation supports Chicago Booth research that examines the social sector and offers real-world solutions to some of today’s most urgent problems.
For example, a Booth team developed an operations model and distribution system that enabled the country’s largest food bank to dramatically increase its reach. Other nonprofit research and nonprofit published papers include the effect of financial audit regulation in the charitable sector on donor behavior and the effect of managed care insurance on how nonprofit hospitals are run.
