David Bishop

David Bishop is an associate professor (teaching) at The University of Hong Kong and Fudan University, Shanghai. An award-winning educator, Mr. Bishop’s teaching focuses on a wide range of legal and ethics related matters. He has consulted major companies concerning ethics, CSR, pro bono representation, and various compliance and governance matters. Mr. Bishop also founded Impact Lab, one of the largest experiential business programs in Asia, empowering over 1,100 students from more than 100 universities around the world. Through the Impact Lab, Mr. Bishop and his students have founded, co-founded, or helped scale more than 50 social impact organizations across Asia.

Wai-Sinn Chan, MBA ’02, MPP ’02

Senior Director, Nonprofit and Civic Engagement Programs, Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation, Chicago Booth

Wai-Sinn Chan, MBA ’02, MPP ’02, is the senior director of nonprofit and civic engagement programs at the Rustandy Center for Social Sector Innovation. She leads the Rustandy Center’s strategy and design of social sector programming for students, alumni, and practitioners. Chan oversees initiatives such as The Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation and the Golub Capital Social Impact Lab, including its IGNITE leadership program. Additionally, she serves as the program director for Chicago Booth’s Civic Scholars Program.

Brian Cheng, ’24 (AXP-23)

Chief Executive Officer, Generation Hong Kong

Brian Cheng, ’24 (AXP-23), is CEO of Generation Hong Kong, which is a part of the global independent non-profit organization founded by McKinsey & Company. Since its launch in early 2018, Cheng has been leading Generation Hong Kong which aims at transforming the education-to-employment system to prepare, place, and support people into life-changing careers that would otherwise be inaccessible, and to solve the talent mismatch and the future talent needs in Hong Kong. Cheng also serves as a council member of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, a member of the Advisory Committee on Gifted Education under The Education Bureau, a member of the Advisory Committee of Diploma of Applied Education, and a member of the Honorary Advisory Committee of Enactus Hong Kong.

Matthew Lee

Fion Leung

Co-Founder & CEO, Time Auction

Fion Leung is the co-founder of Time Auction, a charity that promotes volunteerism. Time Auction was started as a side project in 2014 and registered as a charity in 2017. Since then, Leung has dedicated herself full-time to leveraging technology to drive scalable impact. At Time Auction, volunteering goes beyond traditional norms. Volunteers are encouraged with empowering experiences, from cooking with Michelin-starred chefs to creative workshops. In 2020, Leung launched a platform that efficiently connects skilled volunteers with nonprofits that can benefit from their talents, addressing a talent gap in the nonprofit sector. To date, the Time Auction community has contributed over 310,000 volunteer hours.

Wong is also the school manager of the Federation’s three kindergartens, its primary school and direct-subsidized college. With more than 15 years of experience in one of the largest youth NGOs in Hong Kong, her career spans youth leadership, entrepreneurship, social innovation, and employment.
