Background

Sam is a Behavioral Science PhD student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She is also a recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship. Prior to joining Booth, Sam studied psychology at the University of Florida, where she was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and conducted research on self-concept clarity and past self-gratitude. 

Research Interests

Sam is broadly interested in research on motivation, well-being, and time. She is particularly interested in how these research topics carry implications for judgment, decision-making, and behavior.
