Background

Before joining the behavioral science group, Robert conducted research with Professor Kim Wolske at the Harris School of Public Policy. Their work used national surveys and experimental methods to understand the barriers to adopting energy-efficient technologies.

Research Interests

As a PhD student, Robert is interested in behavioral economics and judgment and decision making applied to policy-relevant questions in household finance, sustainability, and consumer protection. He uses both observational data and lab experiments to identify opportunities to improve decision making through interventions.
