Austin is a PhD student in Behavioral Science. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2022, conducting his honors thesis with Dr. Angela Duckworth on the motivational determinants of self-control. After graduation, Austin spent two years as a full-time research professional at Chicago Booth.
Austin is broadly interested in moral psychology, social cognition, and diversity.
