The Ray Ball Journal of Accounting Research Conference occurs annually each May at the University of Chicago. The conference is funded by the Chookaszian Accounting Research Center.
The 60th Annual Ray Ball Journal of Accounting Research Conference will take place in Chicago on May 2-3, 2025. This year's theme is "AI and Large Language Models in Accounting Research." The conference is by invitation-only.
Beginning in 2025, the conference has been renamed the Ray Ball Journal of Accounting Research Conference in honor of former editor, Ray Ball. Read the announcement here.
