Reconnect Frequently Asked Questions
Reconnect weekend is an alumni occasion that combines multiple great events in one special weekend—most notably, class reunions and Management Conference. The weekend is a great time to catch up with former classmates, listen to renowned faculty present their latest research, and take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer.
The class years celebrating a reunion in April 2025 are the Half Century Club and the classes of 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020, 2024.
Reconnect is scheduled to take place April 24-27, 2025 in Chicago.
A room block is available at the Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile located at 540 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL 60611. Additionally, The University of Chicago also maintains a Preferred Hotel Program for hotels in the Chicago area.
If you are traveling internationally to attend Reconnect and need a letter to apply for a visa, please email the Reunions team to request a letter.
We hope you can take full advantage of not only the activities Booth has planned, but also some of the attractions Chicago has to offer. You can visit a list of Chicago Attractions on the UChicago website.
Business attire is recommended for Management Conference and business attire or dressy casual for your class reception. For all other events, the dress is casual.
Any outright gift, multi-year pledge, or any matching funds received between July 1, 2024, and June 30, 2025 (Chicago Booth's Fiscal Year) will count toward your reunion class gift. For multi-year pledges, donors, as well as their affiliated class, will be recognized for the entire commitment. If a gift has already been made this fiscal year, it will be counted in the reunion totals. For additional questions about giving, please email Celeste Goering.

Yes. The Annual Fund sustains Chicago Booth’s fundamental strengths—our world-class faculty, top-performing students, and global reputation for creating knowledge with enduring value and educating future leaders. Alumni who give to the Annual Fund each year are considered Chicago Booth’s “living endowment.” Each year, more than 8,000 alumni make gifts that the dean uses to fund student scholarships, hire the best faculty, and provide seed funding for initiatives that will transform business. A gift to the Annual Fund is important for three reasons:
It helps make Chicago Booth a top business school;
It provides the dean the ability to make immediate impact;
It renews the connection alumni have to the school as part of a special community of supporters.
A shuttle will run continuously between Gleacher Center and Harper Center on Saturday, April 26. The first shuttle will depart from Gleacher Center at 9:30 a.m. and the last shuttle will depart from Harper Center at 3:30 p.m. The shuttle is first come, first served. Shuttles are not on a timed schedule. They will be running continuously roundtrip and could take 30-35 minutes. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
