I truly believe in the power of business to unleash positive scaled impact, and I have committed my international development career to nurturing inclusive markets to lift rural households out of poverty. Although direct work experience has helped me hone my business intuition, I am now in a point in my career where a structured education amongst a high caliber class of colleagues would really accelerate my ability to apply sophisticated frameworks and cutting-edge ideas. An MBA would not only help me better serve the direct mission of my work by developing more compelling business models to serve the poor, but it would also help me acquire the management skills to lead in my organization.
Why Booth?
The culture at Booth exemplifies a commitment to intellectual rigor and collaborative discovery grounded in real-life application. I saw this clearly during my class visit where students worked together on real cases and presented their findings to a group of peers who pushed each other to question assumptions and reframe insights. This is the reality of our working world today, and Booth will clearly prepare me well to succeed in it.
With a 39-year history, the sit-down Fogel dinner brings students, faculty and staff together to take part in celebrating Booth’s diversity of voices—and instill a sense of belonging.
The prestigious international scholarship recognizes outstanding students at leading graduate schools of business, computer science, energy science, and bioengineering.
