Are you an undergraduate student interested in exploring career options during your first years of work without having the added stress of deciding where you’ll get your future MBA? If this resonates with you, we encourage you to get to know our deferred MBA program known as the Chicago Booth Scholars Program. The Booth Scholars Program allows young professionals to secure their seat at Chicago Booth before graduating from college.
The Booth Scholars Program is a unique opportunity specifically designed for students completing their last year of undergraduate studies. The purpose of this deferred MBA program is to provide young professionals with autonomy to enter the working world and explore career interests without having to worry about applying for business school later on when life gets busy with your first job. As a Booth Scholar, you gain freedom to focus on your early career with the security to begin your MBA education at your own pace. Keep in mind that you have 2-5 years after graduation to explore different career possibilities and shape your post-MBA goals before officially enrolling at Chicago Booth.
Why should you consider becoming a Chicago Booth Scholar?
In addition to providing the autonomy to explore different career options, our deferred MBA program offers you access to Chicago Booth’s extensive network of remarkable resources, such as networking events, student-run activities, and faculty-led programs—all before even starting at Booth.
Another unique perk associated with the Chicago Booth Scholar Program is the ability to choose between enrolling in the Full-Time or Part-Time MBA Programs. It truly maximizes the flexibility of your deferred MBA and ensures you are pursuing the best professional path for you. The Full-Time MBA Program is a great fit for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the classroom experience daily in order to build upon one’s academic and professional skill set. The Part-Time MBA Program is perfect for those who wish to continue working while simultaneously taking courses to learn more about their particular field of interest.
If you are interested in becoming a future Boothie, we encourage you to learn more about our Chicago Booth Scholars Program and apply to be considered for deferred enrollment. Booth Scholars also receive the added benefit of having the $250 application fee waived. We welcome undergraduate students with any major, background, and interests to apply for this life-changing opportunity. For consideration, submit your application by the deadline of April 11.
