Why did you choose to pursue your MBA at Chicago Booth?

Booth's unique approach to business education initially stoked my curiosity about pursuing an MBA. The Civic Scholars Program's focus on individuals who come from a social impact background cemented my decision to attend Booth.

What skills are you looking to develop at Booth and implement into your social impact work?

I aim to enhance my skills in interpreting financial documents to extract insights that will inform actionable decisions in the social sector. This will enable me to contribute more effectively to strategic planning and informed financial management.

What are your career aspirations?

I aspire to dramatically improve the educational attainment levels of Black students in the United States. My ultimate aspiration is to become Mississippi's first Black governor.
