Why did you choose to pursue your MBA at Chicago Booth?
It was important to me to participate in an MBA program that connects to social impact work, so that I can directly apply my learning to the nonprofit arts field. Booth provides an extraordinary opportunity to learn from esteemed faculty in an environment that fosters curiosity, which I believe will be invaluable in my career and aspirations.
What skills are you looking to develop at Booth and implement into your social impact work?
I'm looking to gain new skills in areas outside of my current scope of work that challenge me to grow as a leader. I hope to apply business fundamentals in ways that can create sustainability for arts organizations, and to learn new frameworks to creatively and effectively address critical issues in the arts field to create deep, meaningful impact.
Please explain, how you think that Booth classroom experience will help you in your work/career growth?
As an arts administrator, I'm looking forward to learning in a diverse environment with peers and faculty from other sectors. My hope is that by learning skills outside of my current experiences and in conversations with those working outside of my field, I'll find new ways of approaching my work and addressing critical needs in the performing arts.
