Celebrating AAPI Month with Booth Student Groups
In celebration of AAPI Month, co-chairs shine light on how their student group involvement contributes to their sense of community at Chicago Booth.
Celebrating AAPI Month with Booth Student GroupsSpeaker 1: From the beginning, Booth has presented itself as a giving community, and as such, I think it's the responsibility of every Booth student to give back.
Speaker 2: Everyone is super willing to go out of their way to help you, give you advice, because we all just wanna see each other succeed, and I think that's what makes Booth so special.
Speaker 3: For me, paying it forward is all about using your unique strengths and skills to support others, and that will eventually come full circle in others supporting you, as well.
Speaker 4: I think one of the things I've loved about my Booth experience is how giving fellow students are, professors, your academic advisors, your career advisors.
Speaker 5: What we see is that, what you put into it is what you're gonna get back. Classmates are always willing to go out of their way to help you with all sorts of problems, and they know that they can count on you to be there if they ever had a question, or even asking for a connection inside of your professional network.
Speaker 6: I just think that willingness to answer questions and to help open doors where you can is really at the heart of the culture.
