What was your biggest benefit of being a Booth Scholar?
Being able to make more choices with my career in the time between undergrad and starting at Booth was a benefit, as well as having the chance to test and hone passions and professional curiosities during my deferral period.
How did you stay engaged with Booth during your deferment period?
Both previous Booth Scholars and Booth alumni were super supportive throughout the application process. They took out time to tell me more about the Booth culture and where I could fit in.
How has Booth Scholars shaped your early career decisions?
It helped me to be more curious and unafraid of experimenting with my career. I left my first job after twelve months because I wanted to transition from an agency environment over to a consulting environment, and I felt confident in my decision because I knew that I was going to Booth.
