As we shifted to a virtual model in the Spring, our students found new ways to connect. They explored their passions, came up with innovative solutions, and embodied the spirit of what it means to be a Boothie.
Students spent the summer continuing to prove their skills through virtual internships where they worked towards career pivots and building inclusive company cultures.
Given our architectural marvels, world-class museums, dynamic entertainment, and award-winning dining scene, it’s easy to see that Chicago is a great city. What really makes it feel like home are the welcoming residents and diverse neighborhoods. As things slowed down, students were able to spend time safely playing tourist in the city they call home.
Sure, we have more Nobel laureates on staff than all other MBA programs combined, but what makes Booth professors unique is that they’ve been given the flexibility to conduct research and teach classes on their terms. That same flexibility came into play when re-tooling instruction for a rapidly changing world. This year we’ve seen our professors at the forefront of COVID-19 research, continuing to share their knowledge and expertise outside of the classroom, too!
Everything that has been built at Chicago Booth since 1898 continues to grow and expand with each new class of Boothies pursuing an MBA. Every person who decides to pursue their MBA at Chicago Booth is deciding to be here rather than anywhere else. That’s why we’re incredibly grateful for your continued interest in our program.
As we head into the holiday season, we hope you make time to rest, relax, and care for one another. As our team does the same, please be aware that Chicago Booth will be closed for Winter Recess from December 24 to January 1, 2021. We look forward to connecting with you in 2021!
