Celebrating AAPI Month with Booth Student Groups
In celebration of AAPI Month, co-chairs shine light on how their student group involvement contributes to their sense of community at Chicago Booth.
Celebrating AAPI Month with Booth Student GroupsWhen you’re pursuing an MBA while taking your career to the next level, a powerful community of support is an essential factor in your success. If you’re looking for an immersive MBA experience on a part-time schedule, the Chicago Booth Evening and Weekend MBA programs give you the professional and academic support you need to thrive, all while in a flexible environment. Hear from Part-Time MBA students about why their community is vital to their Booth experience, from classroom dynamics to the power of the alumni network.
Sina Malekian: First thing that comes to mind for why I would tell a prospective student to choose Booth is the network, the alumni network and the current students as well.
Fabi Sanzi: Yeah, it's extremely collaborative. People really are not shy to contribute in class. I always felt like my opinion was valued even if there were diverse points of view.
Christina Starks: Boothies are quite diverse but there's something that connects us that's very tangible
Kenny Bourgon: Especially in navigating a new job or getting into an industry, where you're not familiar with, it was really helpful to talk to other students who had been in those shoes
Christina Starks: And most of us have full-time jobs, projects, and families so you know, we get it when something comes up. Everybody's so understanding and collaborative.
Fabi Sanzi: So I think there's a really strong community after you graduate of Boothies, like helping other Boothies.
