Campus Visitors & Covid-19

As the COVID-19 pandemic persists, visitors to University of Chicago facilities, campuses, and centres are restricted to those invited and hosted by a faculty or staff member, division or unit, student, or authorised affiliate of UChicago. A visitor’s decision to be present on campus and/or in University facilities serves as their acknowledgment and acceptance of the potential risks posed to them by COVID-19. Visitors and vendors are required to follow the University’s COVID-19 guidance applicable at the time of their visit.

Because of ongoing health risks, particularly to the unvaccinated, visitors are expected to adopt the risk mitigation measures appropriate to their vaccination status as advised by public health officials and to their individual vulnerabilities as advised by a medical professional. Public convening may not be safe for all and carries a risk for contracting COVID-19, particularly for those unvaccinated. Visitors will not know the vaccination status of others and should follow appropriate risk mitigation measures. Unvaccinated or vulnerable visitors should request of their host or sponsor whether provisions for social distance can be accommodated before arriving on campus.

The safety of our visitors and staff is paramount. Here is some important information about your visit.

1. All visitors must complete our CHECK IN FORM just prior to, or on arrival at campus (Wi-Fi and QR codes available at reception)
2. Please wash hands regularly and sanitise at any of the sanitising stations located throughout the campus.
3. If you develop symptoms while on campus or within five days of having visited campus, please immediately inform your Chicago Booth host / contact, as well as the Covid-19 Operations Team at LondonCovidSafety@chicagobooth.edu. If on campus, you should immediately leave, self-isolate and follow the UK government guidelines found here.

Please allow an extra 5 minutes before your scheduled visit to complete the check-in form. Once submitted, a copy of your check-in form will be emailed to you for your records.
