Biography

Susana Vasquez serves as Adjunct Assistant Faculty of Strategy at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, where she teaches Housing and Social Impact Lab, and is a seminar instructor for Perspectives on Capitalism.

In addition to teaching, Susana is principal and founder of epiku, a consulting practice focused on people, strategy, and communications. 

Susana brings more than 30 years experience in urban development, and has provided senior leadership for academic, national, regional, and community institutions, including the University of Chicago, IFF, LISC, and the Resurrection Project. She began her career as a community organizer in Chicago with the Affordable Housing and Community Jobs Campaign. 

A graduate of Harvard University (MPA 2002) and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (BA 1992), she most recently earned a certificate from Northwestern University’s Executive Learning and Organizational Change program (2024).
