Biography

Britt Raphling is Clinical Associate Professor of Leadership at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, where she has taught Interpersonal Dynamics since Spring 2020.  She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Certified Group Psychotherapist (CGP) with a private psychotherapy practice in Chicago.  She has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University (2006) and is a graduate of the Center for Group Studies’ training program in Modern Analytic group psychotherapy (2018).  Britt has been an Institute Leader for the Americang Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA).  She has presented numerous experiential trainings in group therapy locally and nationally, for the Great Lakes Group Psychotherapy Society (GLGPS) and AGPA. Her chapter, "A Very Civilized Tea Party:  A Leader's Resistance to Aggression in a Women's Group, is published in the 2021 book, Women, Intersectionality and Power in Group Psychotherapy Leadership.
