Will Gossin-Wilson

Biography

Will Gossin teaches entrepreneurship and innovation across several professional schools at the University of Chicago including Chicago Booth. He teaches experiential courses on innovation, human-centered design, new venture creation, and social entrepreneurship at the Harris School of Public Policy; the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice; and the Law School. Additionally, he directs the leadership program at the Harris School of Public Policy and is an advisor to startups and government leaders.

Previously, he led Chicago Booth’s social entrepreneurship and impact investing programs, coached over 140 teams in Polsky Center new venture accelerator programs, and taught in the Booth Executive Education program in Hong Kong, New Delhi, and London. He was Assistant Dean in the Social Sciences Division where he was responsible for the career services and equity recruitment and admissions for 12 graduate programs as well as created an urban innovation program. Before working at UChicago, he cofounded a funded social venture and conducted education research and policy analysis at the American Institutes for Research. 

He holds Masters degrees in Social Science Research and Epistemology (UChicago), Mental Health Counseling (Univ of Cincinnati), and a Bachelors degree is Economics and Pre-Med from Wake Forest University.
