Biography

Yoel Beniluz's background is in financial accounting and reporting, financial statements analysis, managerial accounting, accounting for complex deal structures, and investor relations strategy.  In addition to teaching at Booth, he is an Adjunct Professor at New York University, Stern School of Business.

Beniluz also has has prior teaching experience at William Paterson University, Sarnat Management School, Ariel University, Florida Atlantic University, and Rutgers Business School – Newark and New Brunswick.

Outside of academia, Beniluz has experience as an independent consultant for Andersen and Deloitte, and as an expert consultant for litigation, business valuations, damages assessment, and general economic, accounting and finance matters.

Beniluz earned a PhD in accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (formerly Graduate School of Business).  Additionally, he holds both an M.A. (Magna Cum Laude) and a B.A (Summa Cum Laude) in economics and business from Hebrew University.
