A. In general, classes start at 8 a.m. and end at 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and start at 8 a.m. and end at Noon on Friday. Some classes begin at Noon. A detailed agenda will be available in the pre-reading materials. Participants will be granted access to pre-reading materials via our online portal approximately 3-4 weeks before the program.

A. Most classes run with 30 to 40 participants.
A. Yes. For example, all courses taught in Hong Kong will be taught by Chicago Booth faculty, who will fly to Hong Kong to teach in person, just as they do in London and Chicago. This gives students direct access to teaching by some of the best business school faculty in the world.
A. Yes, all program and course materials are in English for the open enrollment programs. We can work with translators for custom programs if required.
A. For most of the programs, group work is scheduled during the day. A few programs have group work in the evening. The pre-read contains articles for the first few nights' assignments. You can read those articles ahead of time and schedule any meetings the first few evenings.
A. For most of the programs, there are articles to be read before the program starts. These articles will be available about four to five weeks prior to the program start date.
A. We offer only nondegree programs. Certificates stating that the participants completed the program are given out at the end of the program. The exceptions are the programs CPWA, CIMA and PLP. CPWA and CIMA has a certification process; consult the program's site for more details. PLP participants are eligible for Continuing Medical Education credits (CME).
A. When you successfully complete the program, you will receive a certificate of completion, a digital badge credential that you can share among your social networks, access to the Executive Education private LinkedIn group, and a subscription to the Chicago Booth Review—the official publication of the business school.
A. For most programs, homework would be reading articles to prepare for the next day; you should anticipate 1-2 hours of reading per evening.
A. The dress code is business casual.
We do not require GRE or GMAT scores.
No, we do not require an entrance exam. Most of our courses are open enrollment, meaning after you submit the registration form you are enrolled in the course. For application programs, you must complete the application form, and you will receive a response from the admissions committee.
There is no definite deadline, but we recommend that you register at least five weeks in advance of the program start date; around this time, we will make pre-reading materials available to participants. You will have ample time to prepare for the class and to reserve your preferred accommodations.
A. We accept purchase orders; there is a space to put the purchase order number on the online registration form.
A. The price on the website is most current, as the website is frequently updated.
A. Payment is due prior to program commencement. We accept several payment methods: check, wire transfer/ACH, or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). Credit card payments for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover may be made online in the U.S. at the time of registration.
When you register, you will receive a confirmation and link to an invoice via email.
A. All notification of cancellations, transfers, deferrals and substitutions must be sent in writing to Chicago Booth Executive Education. Full refunds can be obtained up to 30 days before the program start date. Any cancellations or requests for transfers or deferrals received 30 days or less from the program start are subject to the fees as described below.
More than 30 days’ notice: 0% Cancellation – 0% Transfer Fee
14 to 30 days’ notice: 30% Cancellation – 15% Transfer Fee
Less than 14 days’ notice: 50% Cancellation – 25% Transfer Fee
Chicago Booth Executive Education, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to limit enrollments or cancel a program regardless of acceptance status. In the unlikely event of a program cancellation, paid program fees will be refunded. Chicago Booth is not responsible for any travel, hotel or other related expenses accrued by the program registrant.
