Prior to GrubHub's merger with Seamless North America LLC, Maloney led the company through five rounds of investment funding, the acquisition of DotMenu, and the 2012 launch of OrderHub. Most recently, he led GrubHub's entry into the food delivery space with the acquisition of two leading restaurant delivery services, DiningIn and Restaurants on the Run.
Maloney currently serves as an advisory board member for the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, is a member of ChicagoNEXT, and serves on the board of directors of Merge Healthcare Incorporated. He was named one of the top 50 business people of 2014 by Fortune, and is a regular contributor to Wall Street Journal's The Accelerators blog.
