This virtual webinar is open to angel investors and members of the Chicago Booth Angels Network. The discussion will focus on basic estate planning documents (like wills and trusts), advanced planning considerations, liquidity concerns, and tax considerations from an angel investor's perspective. At the end, you will have an opportunity to ask questions.

Kim Kamin (UofC Law School, J.D. '97) is a partner at Gresham Partners, an independent wealth management firm serving ~110 ultra-high net worth families nationally. As Chief Wealth Strategist, Kim leads the firm in helping clients with their estate planning, estate and trust administration, philanthropic, and rising generation engagment and education activities. In addition, Kim is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University Law School and on faculty for the UofC Business School Executive Education, is on the Editorial Advisory Board of Trusts and Estates Magazine, is a Past-President for the Chicago Estate Planning Council, a Regent with the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, and is the Estate Planning and Legal Services Domain Chair for the UHNW Institute. Additionally, she is a member of The Economic Club of Chicago, on advisory boards for multiple local philanthropic organizations, and on the Founders' Committee of the UofC Center of Law and Finance. Previously, Kim was a partner at a large law firm known for the quality of its trusts and estates practice. Kim frequently speaks and publishes nationally. She is co-executive editor and co-author for the Leimberg Library book, Estate Planning for Modern Families.
