Event Details

This year's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be dedicated to the topic area of A.I. (Artificial Intelligence), a new capability that is rapidly developing and affecting millions of job profiles across virtually all industries. Europe in particular will be under pressure to develop its understanding and capabilities over the coming decade to play a leading role on the world stage.

Spouses are most welcome. Please ensure to add them in the registration process.
Friday and Saturday morning portions of the programme are reserved for full (paying) members only. For the time Saturday to Sunday afternoon, all members of the MIT community in Germany are welcome to join.

13:30 - 18:00 Joint Symposium: A I A Radical Transformation of All Kinds

During the symposium, we plan to explore the deep impact of A.I. intransforming our built and living environment.
We invited a group of A I experts who w ill discuss special topics around the process from connecting data to creating intelligence, the ethical dimension of A.I. and the opportunities and risks involved in A.I. development.
In a panel discussion, we will elaborate on different positions and invite all members to join the debate.
Also, we will shed light on MIT's newest investment in this area with the founding of the new MIT Schwarzman College of Computing.
