We are delighted to announce the sixth session of the "Chicago Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum Japan" (CHIEF-J).
This time we are honored to have as the special guest speaker, Mr. Haruaki Deguchi, the founder and Chairman of Lifenet Insurance Company, the pioneer of Internet dedicated life insurance enterprise.
We are also honored to have Yusuke Karita, '11 (AXP-9) to make his business idea pitch to us. In addition, we also invite Yasuhiro Tsuchida, '02 Chief Financial Officer of Moff, one of the most prospective 3D motion tech start-up for education and fitness solutions who will share how a professional CFO plays a key role in a technology start-up.

Speaker Profiles
Haruaki Deguchi (Speaker)
Founder & Chairman, Lifenet Insurance Corporation
Mr. Deguchi is the founder of Lifenet Insurance. He was born in MIE Prefecture, Japan in 1948.
After graduating from Kyoto University, he entered Nippon Life Insurance Company (Nissay) in 1972. In Nissay, he mainly experienced corporate planning and financial planning organizations. In the meantime, he was involved in the nation's financial system reform as the first chairman of the financial planning committee of the Japan Life Insurance Association. After he completed his assignment as the president of Nissay's London subsidiary, general manager of international operation, he retired from Nissay in 2006.
Immediately thereafter, he organized a new venture and started Lifenet Insurance business in conjunction with government approval of insurance business.
