David joined Breckinridge Capital Advisors in November of 2003 and has over 20 years of experience in the municipal bond market. Previously David was Executive Vice President at Thomson Financial where he was responsible for development and production of all global fixed income research products. He is currently serving on the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board as a public representative for investors and on the Town of Duxbury Board of Selectmen. David gained expertise in fixed income portfolio management as a Private Bank asset manager for Bankers Trust and at Prudential Insurance where he managed single state municipal bond funds. David held the position of Chief Municipal Strategist for Merrill Lynch and was often quoted in the press, was a featured presenter at institutional conferences and was named to the Institutional Investor All Star list. His research on municipal bond risk management was published in 1994 in The Handbook of Municipal Bonds and in 1996 in Derivatives Risk and Responsibility. He received a B.B.A in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Chicago.
