Univeristy of Chicago Alumni Club of Colorado Brewery Tour

Join fellow University of Chicago alumni, parents, and friends for an afternoon of tours and tastings at two noteworthy Denver breweries. Since a ski bum with a knack for extraordinary home brews opened its Breckenridge location in 1990 as the third Colorado craft brewery, the Breckenridge Brewery has impressed people with its commitment to quality. The Wynkoop Brewing Company opened in 1988 as Colorado's first Brewpub and first microbrewery.
Attendees should arrive between 11:00 and 11:45 AM at Breckenridge (471 Kalamath Street, Denver, CO 80204), where people can mingle and sample a wide variety of beers before starting the tour at Noon. The tour will last 30 minutes, then we will leave for the Wynkoop Brewery (1634 18th Street, Denver, CO 20202). There we will take the 2:00 PM tour which is followed by tastings.
Cost: $15/person; includes a souvenir brewery glass from each location and four complimentary samples at Wynkoop.
