Harpoon Brewery was founded in 1986 on the Boston waterfront by Dan Kenary and Rich Doyle, Harvard College classmates. Its beers are distributed throughout the eastern United States, and it is the eighth largest craft brewery in the U. S. The brewery features four year round beers and four seasonal beers. Dan Kenary is President and Co-Founder of the Harpoon Brewery and has been with the company from 1986 to 1990 and 1996 to the present but always remained on the Board. Dan is a Director and Treasurer for Save the Harbor / Save the Bay, an environmental advocacy organization. He is also President of the Boston Marine Park Business Association and the Massachusetts Brewer's Guild while serving on the Executive Committee of the Associated Industries of Massachusetts. Dan Received his MBA from the Chicago GSB.
