What can we expect the economy to look like for the rest of 2024 and beyond? Find out as esteemed Professor Fadel Lawandy shares the latest economic forecast, including a projection of the main drivers in the economy expected to influence both financial markets and the election. He will also address the forecast for the real estate market, the ongoing struggle between monetary and fiscal policies, the enduring shift in consumer spending behavior, and how different election outcomes could impact future economic growth. Fadel Lawandy is Director at the C. Larry Hoag Center for Real Estate and Finance and the Janes Financial Center at Chapman University where he is Associate Professor of Finance and Real Estate Clinical Faculty. In addition to his academic roles, Fadel collaborates with President Emeritus Jim Doti and Professor Raymond Sfeir to prepare and present Chapman University's A. Gary Anderson Economic Forecast. He is also on the board of Partners Bank of California and has authored articles in the OCBJ, OC Register and LA Times. He has over twenty-eight years of experience in the financial industry with expertise in banking, credit management, commercial/residential real estate acquisition and financing, business lending, mergers and acquisitions, quantitative and qualitative analysis and research, and portfolio Management. Fadel holds a B.S./B.A. degree from the George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics at Chapman University and his MBA from Norwich University, and he is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA).
