Event Details
The Chicago Booth Global Angel Network Summit is an opportunity for various angel network leaders to convene to share best practices and to potentially create some standardization of the angel network structures across the globe.
The full day event will consist of interactive best practice sharing between the six existing angel network groups located in: London, NYC, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Japan, and Moscow. This workshop will also offer ideas and tools to launch emerging angel networks in new markets: Chicago, France, Germany, Malaysia, and UAE.
As participants, the alumni will be driving the conversation. The interactive workshop will contain group presentations, breakouts, and brainstorming. The event will conclude with a VIP reception with Scott Meadow (TBC), and complimentary participation in his speaking engagment, directly following the day's activities.
TRAVEL STIPEND:
Alumni relations will offer partial reimbursement for travel, based on distance/cost. You must be a part of an existing Angel Network in order to receive this travel stipend. Below are the remibursement amounts per region-
USA - East Coast - $500
USA - Midwest - $600
USA - West Coast - $750
Latin America - $1,000
Asia Pacific - $1,000
Middle East/Africa - $500
Eastern Europe - $200
Western Europe- $100

10:00 – 11:00 Regional Angel Network presentations of 6 existing networks
11:00 – 11:15 Coffee Break with light snacks
11:15 – 13:30 CBAN discussion about varios topics:
- Structure and organization, platforms, deal flow, due diligence, recruiting new committee members, and regional trends
13:30 – 14:30 Lunch
14:30 – 15:00 Polsky Update on Global Initiatives
15:00 – 17:30 Group breakout sessions / further discussions:
- Standardization, governance review, deal flow sharing, marketing and communications, and other B-School networks
