Chairman of the Board, Draper & Krame
Ferdinand Kramer received his PhB from the University of Chicago in 1922 and joined Draper & Kramer, Inc., rising through the ranks to become chairman of the board. He worked in real estate and mortgage banking, giving particular attention to the renewal of Chicago neighborhoods. Through such successful developments as Prairie Shores and Dearborn Park, Kramer helped provide integrated, middle-income housing to the city's South Side.
