Chicago Booth Black Alumni Association (CBAA)

Our mission is to increase the success of our members by providing a cohesive network and programs that enhance our ability to impact our environment.

The Chicago Booth Black Alumni Association (CBAA) believes that the strength of one's network is key to maximizing professional and personal success, and in expanding one's influence and power. Led by a team of volunteers, CBAA offers a supportive and strategic global network.  By joining forces and pooling resources, by investing in ourselves and each other and by empowering our communities, our cohort of Black Booth Alumni, being committed and engaged, can:

• Forge greater representation on campus– both in front of and behind the lectern;

• Expand our footprints in the highest echelons of organizational leadership;

• Endow our community with resources, knowledge and wealth; and

• Hold the door open for the generations to come.

Connect with us online through our LinkedIn and Facebook groups, or contact us to be added to our monthly emails.

The CBAA began as a steering committee in April of 2004. This group quickly formed into a larger, more structured affinity organization with a vision of building a connected community.

Chicago Booth Alumni Relations would like to thank Brigitte Anderson, ’08, and Alandrea Timmons, ’08, for their efforts to organize the Black alumni community. Since 2017, they have given countless volunteer hours to building this organization. We are grateful they will continue as advisors and remain Chicago Booth ambassadors.
