Calvin ChunUndergraduate school/major: I graduated from the University of Virginia with a major in chemical engineering.

Prior to Booth: I worked at ExxonMobil Research and Engineering as an engineer for four years in Fairfax, Virginia, supporting refineries and chemical plants around the world in implementing projects and advancing R&D programs in developing new technologies. This summer, I interned at Credit Suisse's Fixed Income in Seoul, Korea.

Concentrations: Accounting and finance.

Activities: I am currently a member of the Investment Banking Group, Chicago Asia Pacific Group, Dean's Student Admissions Committee, Korean Business Group, and Basketball Club.

Career Plans: I will join Credit Suisse as an investment banking associate.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I chose to apply and attend Booth for the school's reputation in finance, amazing career services team, and flexible curriculum. I believe these three distinguished features make Booth an ideal program for everyone including career switchers. I also have a passion for the sports teams in Chicago, and have always wanted to live in Chicago at some point in life.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? Watch the Bulls or the Bears play in their stadiums, or at a bar filled with fans.

Undergraduate school/major: I graduated from Pohang University of Science and Technology and majored in materials science and engineering.

Concentrations: Marketing management, managerial and organizational behavior, and finance.

Activities: I am a member of the Corporate Management and Strategy Group, Private Equity Group, Booth Technology Group, Retail, Apparel and Luxury Group, Korean Business Group, and Photo Booth.

Career Plans: I'll be working for Bain & Company after business school.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I like the flexible curriculum, which allows me to maximize my time for my academic and professional progress, and the warm nature and confidence of Booth students and alumni. I think Booth provides the most balanced opportunities among finance, marketing, entrepreneurship, general management, and other disciplines.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? Attending Chicago Idea Week and the Net Impact conference.

Undergraduate school/major: I graduated from Boston University and majored in economics.

Concentrations: Entrepreneurship, marketing management, and strategic management.

Activities: I am a member of Booth Tech and the Management Consulting Group.

Career Plans: I am recruiting for high tech and management consulting.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? The most important reason I chose to attend Booth was the flexible curriculum. I was really eager to take as many entrepreneurship and finance classes as possible because I hoped to work in the VC industry in the future. I realized that I could manage my own curriculum at Booth, so Booth became my first choice.

Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Collaborative, dynamic, and academic.

What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? Absolutely it is Wrigley Field. As a huge baseball fan, watching a game at the second oldest ballpark in the US was a really exciting and memorable experience. I also recommend Piece pizzeria in Bucktown. You don't want to miss out on their customized toppings and their own brewed beer!

Undergraduate school/major: I graduated from Sookmyung Women's University and majored in journalism, public relations, and advertising.

Concentrations: Economics and finance.

Activities: I am a member of the Investment Banking Group, Corporate Finance Group, Korean Business Group, Chicago Asia Pacific Group, and Chicago Women in Business.

Career Plans: I am recruiting for an investment banking opportunity in New York and Asia.

Why did you choose Chicago Booth? I chose to apply to and attend Booth for the school's world-renowned reputation in finance and economics. Imagine that you can take classes from professor Eugene Fama, one of the winners of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences! Booth also provides unmatched career services and a flexible curriculum, so students can pursue their dream without wasting time. Booth is constantly evolving, and students are a part of that evolution.
