Why did you choose to apply to and attend Booth? I chose Booth because of its intellectual capital. Booth has the best faculty, especially for finance, and the number of Nobel laureates the university has produced is testimony to this. The intellectual capital extends to its student community as well, who are very curious and engaging. Booth also appealed to me because of its flexible curriculum. I wanted a curriculum that would let me choose the level of difficulty of the courses and directly go for advanced courses if I had previously taken the basic ones. I also chose Booth because of its cooperative and friendly community. I had experienced this through my interactions with alums before coming to Booth and my views were only reinforced after I landed here. From classmates to graduates, from the admissions committee to Career Services, everyone is very helpful and collaborative.
Use three adjectives to describe your experience at Chicago Booth: Incredible, fun-filled, and transformative.
What do you consider a "must visit" place or "must do" activity in Chicago? Take a tour of the Art Collection at Harper Center and attend a Food Truck Social.
Ask me about...: Careers in finance, pursuing an MBA with your spouse at Booth, life at Booth, or about transitioning to the US.
